Boston 12 VS Pegasus 41
The Boston 12 is a responsive racing/training shoe for speed-focused runners, while the Pegasus 41 is a versatile daily trainer built for all-around comfort and consistent miles.
How Long Do Shoes Last?
The lifespan of the Adidas Boston 12 is generally longer than that of the Nike Pegasus 41.
The Boston 12 is equipped with a Continental outsole and LSP foam midsole, both of which contribute to its excellent durability. Based on user feedback, some runners estimate its lifespan can reach 1200-1500 km. Even after 1000 km of use, the shoe’s overall performance does not decline significantly, and it still maintains good support and cushioning.
The Nike Pegasus 41, featuring a durable rubber outsole and React midsole, also delivers solid durability. Its outsole has high wear resistance, and its tested lifespan on asphalt roads can reach 1000 km. However, its overall lifespan is relatively shorter compared to the Boston 12.
